2 Corinthians

2But¹¹⁶¹ I determined²⁹¹⁹ this⁵¹²⁴ with myself,¹⁶⁸³ that I would²⁰⁶⁴ ➔ not³³⁶¹ come²⁰⁶⁴ again³⁸²⁵ to⁴³¹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ in¹⁷²² heaviness.³⁰⁷⁷

² For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ I¹⁴⁷³ make³⁰⁷⁶ ➔ you⁵²⁰⁹ sorry,³⁰⁷⁶ who⁵¹⁰¹ is he²⁰⁷⁶ then²⁵³² that maketh²¹⁶⁵ ➔ me³¹⁶⁵ glad,²¹⁶⁵ but¹⁵⁰⁸ the same which is made sorry³⁰⁷⁶ by¹⁵³⁷ me?¹⁷⁰⁰

³ And²⁵³² I wrote¹¹²⁵ this⁵¹²⁴ same⁸⁴⁶ unto you,⁵²¹³ lest,³³⁶³ when I came,²⁰⁶⁴ I should have²¹⁹² sorrow³⁰⁷⁷ from⁵⁷⁵ them of whom³⁷³⁹ I³¹⁶⁵ ought¹¹⁶³ to rejoice;⁵⁴⁶³ having confidence³⁹⁸² in¹⁹⁰⁹ you⁵²⁰⁹ all,³⁹⁵⁶ that³⁷⁵⁴ my¹⁶⁹⁹ joy⁵⁴⁷⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ the joy of you⁵²¹⁶ all.³⁹⁵⁶

^4C For¹⁰⁶³ out of¹⁵³⁷ much⁴¹⁸³ affliction²³⁴⁷ and²⁵³² anguish⁴⁹²⁸ of heart²⁵⁸⁸ I wrote¹¹²⁵ unto you⁵²¹³ with¹²²³ many⁴¹⁸³ tears;¹¹⁴⁴ not³⁷⁵⁶ that²⁴⁴³ ye should be grieved,³⁰⁷⁶ but²³⁵ that²⁴⁴³ ye might know¹⁰⁹⁷ the love²⁶ which³⁷³⁹ I have²¹⁹² more abundantly⁴⁰⁵⁶ unto¹⁵¹⁹ you.⁵²⁰⁹

⁵ But¹¹⁶¹ if any¹⁵³⁶ have caused grief,³⁰⁷⁶ he hath³⁰⁷⁶ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ grieved³⁰⁷⁶ me,¹⁶⁹¹ but²³⁵ in⁵⁷⁵ part:³³¹³ that³³⁶³ ➔ I may¹⁹¹² ➔ not³³⁶³ overcharge¹⁹¹² you⁵²⁰⁹ all.³⁹⁵⁶

⁶ Sufficient²⁴²⁵ to such a man⁵¹⁰⁸ is this³⁷⁷⁸ punishment,²⁰⁰⁹ which³⁵⁸⁸ was inflicted of⁵²⁵⁹ many.⁴¹¹⁹

⁷ So⁵⁶²⁰ that contrariwise⁵¹²¹ ye⁵²⁰⁹ ought rather³¹²³ to forgive⁵⁴⁸³ him, and²⁵³² comfort³⁸⁷⁰ him, lest³³⁸¹ perhaps⁴⁴⁵⁸ such a one⁵¹⁰⁸ should be swallowed up²⁶⁶⁶ with overmuch⁴⁰⁵⁵ sorrow.³⁰⁷⁷

⁸ Wherefore¹³⁵² I beseech³⁸⁷⁰ you⁵²⁰⁹ that ye would confirm²⁹⁶⁴ your love²⁶ toward¹⁵¹⁹ him.⁸⁴⁶

⁹ For¹⁰⁶³ to¹⁵¹⁹ this end⁵¹²⁴ also²⁵³² did I write,¹¹²⁵ that²⁴⁴³ I might know¹⁰⁹⁷ the proof¹³⁸² of you,⁵²¹⁶ whether¹⁴⁸⁷ ye be²⁰⁷⁵ obedient⁵²⁵⁵ in¹⁵¹⁹ all things.³⁹⁵⁶

^{10 1161} To whom³⁷³⁹ ye forgive⁵⁴⁸³ any thing,⁵¹⁰⁰ I¹⁴⁷³ forgive also:²⁵³² for^25321063 if I¹⁴⁷³ forgave⁵⁴⁸³ any thing,¹⁵³⁶ to whom³⁷³⁹ I forgave⁵⁴⁸³ it, for your sakes^12235209 forgave I it in¹⁷²² the person⁴³⁸³ of Christ;⁵⁵⁴⁷

^11C Lest³³⁶³ Satan^52594567 should get an advantage of us:⁴¹²² for¹⁰⁶³ we are not³⁷⁵⁶ ignorant⁵⁰ of his⁸⁴⁶ devices.³⁵⁴⁰

¹² Furthermore,¹¹⁶¹ when I came²⁰⁶⁴ to¹⁵¹⁹ Troas⁵¹⁷⁴ to¹⁵¹⁹ preach Christ's⁵⁵⁴⁷ gospel,²⁰⁹⁸ and²⁵³² a door²³⁷⁴ was opened⁴⁵⁵ unto me³⁴²⁷ of¹⁷²² the Lord,²⁹⁶²

^13C I had²¹⁹² no³⁷⁵⁶ rest⁴²⁵ in my³⁴⁵⁰ spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ because I³¹⁶⁵ found²¹⁴⁷ not³³⁶¹ Titus⁵¹⁰³ my³⁴⁵⁰ brother:⁸⁰ but²³⁵ taking my leave⁶⁵⁷ of them,⁸⁴⁶ I went from thence¹⁸³¹ into¹⁵¹⁹ Macedonia.³¹⁰⁹

^14C Now¹¹⁶¹ thanks⁵⁴⁸⁵ be unto God,²³¹⁶ which always³⁸⁴² causeth²³⁵⁸ ➔ us²²⁴⁸ to triumph²³⁵⁸ in¹⁷²² Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ and²⁵³² maketh manifest⁵³¹⁹ the savour³⁷⁴⁴ of his⁸⁴⁶ knowledge¹¹⁰⁸ by¹²²³ us²²⁵⁷ in¹⁷²² every³⁹⁵⁶ place.⁵¹¹⁷

^15C For³⁷⁵⁴ we are²⁰⁷⁰ unto God²³¹⁶ a sweet savour²¹⁷⁵ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ in¹⁷²² them that are saved,⁴⁹⁸² and²⁵³² in¹⁷²² them that perish:⁶²²

^16C To³⁷³⁹ the one³³⁰³ we are the savour³⁷⁴⁴ of death²²⁸⁸ unto¹⁵¹⁹ death;²²⁸⁸ and¹¹⁶¹ to the other³⁷³⁹ the savour³⁷⁴⁴ of life²²²² unto¹⁵¹⁹ life.²²²² And²⁵³² who⁵¹⁰¹ is sufficient²⁴²⁵ for⁴³¹⁴ these things?⁵⁰²³

^17C For¹⁰⁶³ we are²⁰⁷⁰ not³⁷⁵⁶ as⁵⁶¹³ many,⁴¹⁸³ which corrupt²⁵⁸⁵ the word³⁰⁵⁶ of God:²³¹⁶ but²³⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ of¹⁵³⁷ sincerity,¹⁵⁰⁵ but²³⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ of¹⁵³⁷ God,²³¹⁶ in the sight²⁷¹⁴ of God²³¹⁶ speak we²⁹⁸⁰ in¹⁷²² Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

3^CDo we begin⁷⁵⁶ again³⁸²⁵ to commend⁴⁹²¹ ourselves?¹⁴³⁸ or¹⁵⁰⁸ need we,⁵⁵³⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ some⁵¹⁰⁰ others, epistles¹⁹⁹² of commendation⁴⁹⁵⁶ to⁴³¹⁴ you,⁵²⁰⁹ or²²²⁸ letters of commendation⁴⁹⁵⁶ from¹⁵³⁷ you?⁵²¹⁶

^2C Ye⁵²¹⁰ are²⁰⁷⁵ our²²⁵⁷ epistle¹⁹⁹² written¹⁴⁴⁹ in¹⁷²² our²²⁵⁷ hearts,²⁵⁸⁸ known¹⁰⁹⁷ and²⁵³² read³¹⁴ of⁵²⁵⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ men:⁴⁴⁴

^3C Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared⁵³¹⁹ to³⁷⁵⁴ be²⁰⁷⁵ the epistle¹⁹⁹² of Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ ministered¹²⁴⁷ by⁵²⁵⁹ us,²²⁵⁷ written¹⁴⁴⁹ not³⁷⁵⁶ with ink,³¹⁸⁸ but²³⁵ with the Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of the living²¹⁹⁸ God;²³¹⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² tables⁴¹⁰⁹ of stone,³⁰³⁵ but²³⁵ in¹⁷²² fleshy⁴⁵⁶⁰ tables⁴¹⁰⁹ of the heart.²⁵⁸⁸

⁴ And¹¹⁶¹ such⁵¹⁰⁸ trust⁴⁰⁰⁶ have we²¹⁹² through¹²²³ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ to⁴³¹⁴ God-ward:²³¹⁶

^5C Not³⁷⁵⁶ that³⁷⁵⁴ we are²⁰⁷⁰ sufficient²⁴²⁵ of⁵⁷⁵ ourselves¹⁴³⁸ to think³⁰⁴⁹ any thing⁵¹⁰⁰ as⁵⁶¹³ of¹⁵³⁷ ourselves;¹⁴³⁸ but²³⁵ our²²⁵⁷ sufficiency²⁴²⁶ is of¹⁵³⁷ God;²³¹⁶

^6C Who³⁷³⁹ also²⁵³² hath made²⁴²⁷ ➔ us²²⁴⁸ able²⁴²⁷ ministers¹²⁴⁹ of the new²⁵³⁷ testament;¹²⁴² not³⁷⁵⁶ of the letter,¹¹²¹ but²³⁵ of the spirit:⁴¹⁵¹ for¹⁰⁶³ the letter¹¹²¹ killeth,⁶¹⁵ but¹¹⁶¹ the spirit⁴¹⁵¹ giveth life.²²²⁷

^7C But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁸⁷ the ministration¹²⁴⁸ of death,²²⁸⁸ written^17221121 and engraven¹⁷⁹⁵ in¹⁷²² stones,³⁰³⁷ was¹⁰⁹⁶ glorious,^17221391 so⁵⁶²⁰ that the children⁵²⁰⁷ of Israel²⁴⁷⁴ could¹⁴¹⁰ not³³⁶¹ stedfastly behold⁸¹⁶ the face^15194383 of Moses³⁴⁷⁵ for¹²²³ the glory¹³⁹¹ of his⁸⁴⁶ countenance;⁴³⁸³ which³⁵⁸⁸ glory was to be done away:²⁶⁷³

^8C How⁴⁴⁵⁹ shall¹²⁴⁸ ➔ not³⁷⁸⁰ the ministration¹²⁴⁸ of the spirit⁴¹⁵¹ be²⁰⁷¹ rather^31231722 glorious?¹³⁹¹

^9C For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ the ministration¹²⁴⁸ of condemnation²⁶³³ be glory,¹³⁹¹ much⁴¹⁸³ more³¹²³ doth the ministration¹²⁴⁸ of righteousness¹³⁴³ exceed⁴⁰⁵² in¹⁷²² glory.¹³⁹¹

^10C For¹⁰⁶³ even²⁵³² that which was made glorious¹³⁹² had no³⁷⁶¹ glory¹³⁹² in¹⁷²² this⁵¹²⁹ respect,³³¹³ by reason¹⁷⁵² of the glory¹³⁹¹ that excelleth.⁵²³⁵

^11C For¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ that which is done away²⁶⁷³ was glorious,^12231391 much⁴¹⁸³ more³¹²³ that which remaineth³³⁰⁶ is glorious.^17221391

^12C Seeing then³⁷⁶⁷ that we have²¹⁹² such⁵¹⁰⁸ hope,¹⁶⁸⁰ we use⁵⁵³⁰ great⁴¹⁸³ plainness of speech:³⁹⁵⁴

^13C And²⁵³² not³⁷⁵⁶ as²⁵⁰⁹ Moses,³⁴⁷⁵ which put⁵⁰⁸⁷ a vail²⁵⁷¹ over¹⁹⁰⁹ his¹⁴³⁸ face,⁴³⁸³ that⁴³¹⁴ the children⁵²⁰⁷ of Israel²⁴⁷⁴ could⁸¹⁶ ➔ not³³⁶¹ stedfastly look⁸¹⁶ to¹⁵¹⁹ the end⁵⁰⁵⁶ of that which is abolished:²⁶⁷³

^14C But²³⁵ their⁸⁴⁶ minds³⁵⁴⁰ were blinded:⁴⁴⁵⁶ for¹⁰⁶³ until⁸⁹¹ this day⁴⁵⁹⁴ remaineth³³⁰⁶ the same⁸⁴⁶ vail²⁵⁷¹ untaken³³⁶¹ away³⁴³ in¹⁹⁰⁹ the reading³²⁰ of the old³⁸²⁰ testament;¹²⁴² which³⁷⁴⁸ vail is done away²⁶⁷³ in¹⁷²² Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

^15C But²³⁵ even²¹⁹³ unto this day,⁴⁵⁹⁴ when²²⁵⁹ Moses³⁴⁷⁵ is read,³¹⁴ the vail²⁵⁷¹ is upon^27491909 their⁸⁴⁶ heart.²⁵⁸⁸

^16C Nevertheless¹¹⁶¹ when²²⁵⁹ it³⁰² shall turn¹⁹⁹⁴ to⁴³¹⁴ the Lord,²⁹⁶² the vail²⁵⁷¹ shall be taken away.⁴⁰¹⁴

^17C Now¹¹⁶¹ the Lord²⁹⁶² is²⁰⁷⁶ that Spirit:⁴¹⁵¹ and¹¹⁶¹ where³⁷⁵⁷ the Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of the Lord²⁹⁶² is, there¹⁵⁶³ is liberty.¹⁶⁵⁷

^18C But¹¹⁶¹ we²²⁴⁹ all,³⁹⁵⁶ with open³⁴³ face⁴³⁸³ beholding as in a glass²⁷³⁴ the glory¹³⁹¹ of the Lord,²⁹⁶² are changed³³³⁹ into the same⁸⁴⁶ image¹⁵⁰⁴ from⁵⁷⁵ glory¹³⁹¹ to¹⁵¹⁹ glory,¹³⁹¹ even as²⁵⁰⁹ by⁵⁷⁵ the Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of the Lord.²⁹⁶²

4^CTherefore seeing^12235124 we have²¹⁹² this⁵⁰²⁶ ministry,¹²⁴⁸ as²⁵³¹ we have received mercy,¹⁶⁵³ we faint¹⁵⁷³ not;³⁷⁵⁶

^2C But²³⁵ have renounced⁵⁵⁰ the hidden things²⁹²⁷ of dishonesty,¹⁵² not³³⁶¹ walking⁴⁰⁴³ in¹⁷²² craftiness,³⁸³⁴ nor³³⁶⁶ handling¹³⁸⁹ ➔ the word³⁰⁵⁶ of God²³¹⁶ deceitfully;¹³⁸⁹ but²³⁵ by manifestation⁵³²¹ of the truth²²⁵ commending⁴⁹²¹ ourselves¹⁴³⁸ to⁴³¹⁴ every³⁹⁵⁶ man's⁴⁴⁴ conscience⁴⁸⁹³ in the sight¹⁷⁹⁹ of God.²³¹⁶

^3C But¹¹⁶¹ if¹⁴⁹⁹ our²²⁵⁷ gospel²⁰⁹⁸ be²⁰⁷⁶ hid,²⁵⁷² it is²⁰⁷⁶ hid²⁵⁷² to¹⁷²² them that are lost:⁶²²

^4C In¹⁷²² whom³⁷³⁹ the god²³¹⁶ of this⁵¹²⁷ world¹⁶⁵ hath blinded⁵¹⁸⁶ the minds³⁵⁴⁰ of them which believe not,⁵⁷¹ lest^15193361 the light⁵⁴⁶² of the glorious¹³⁹¹ gospel²⁰⁹⁸ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ who³⁷³⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ the image¹⁵⁰⁴ of God,²³¹⁶ should shine⁸²⁶ unto them.⁸⁴⁶

^5C For¹⁰⁶³ we preach²⁷⁸⁴ not³⁷⁵⁶ ourselves,¹⁴³⁸ but²³⁵ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus²⁴²⁴ the Lord;²⁹⁶² and¹¹⁶¹ ourselves¹⁴³⁸ your⁵²¹⁶ servants¹⁴⁰¹ for¹²²³ ➔ Jesus'²⁴²⁴ sake.¹²²³

^6C For³⁷⁵⁴ God,²³¹⁶ who³⁵⁸⁸ commanded²⁰³⁶ the light⁵⁴⁵⁷ to shine²⁹⁸⁹ out of¹⁵³⁷ darkness,^46553739 hath shined²⁹⁸⁹ in¹⁷²² our²²⁵⁷ hearts,²⁵⁸⁸ to⁴³¹⁴ give the light⁵⁴⁶² of the knowledge¹¹⁰⁸ of the glory¹³⁹¹ of God²³¹⁶ in¹⁷²² the face⁴³⁸³ of Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

^7C But¹¹⁶¹ we have²¹⁹² this⁵¹²⁶ treasure²³⁴⁴ in¹⁷²² earthen³⁷⁴⁹ vessels,⁴⁶³² that²⁴⁴³ the excellency⁵²³⁶ of the power¹⁴¹¹ may be⁵⁶⁰⁰ of God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² not³³⁶¹ of¹⁵³⁷ us.²²⁵⁷

^8C We are troubled²³⁴⁶ on¹⁷²² every side,³⁹⁵⁶ yet²³⁵ not³⁷⁵⁶ distressed;⁴⁷²⁹ we are perplexed,⁶³⁹ but²³⁵ not³⁷⁵⁶ in despair;¹⁸²⁰

^9C Persecuted,¹³⁷⁷ but²³⁵ not³⁷⁵⁶ forsaken;¹⁴⁵⁹ cast down,²⁵⁹⁸ but²³⁵ not³⁷⁵⁶ destroyed;⁶²²

^10C Always³⁸⁴² bearing about⁴⁰⁶⁴ in¹⁷²² the body⁴⁹⁸³ the dying³⁵⁰⁰ of the Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus,²⁴²⁴ that²⁴⁴³ the life²²²² also²⁵³² of Jesus²⁴²⁴ might be made manifest⁵³¹⁹ in¹⁷²² our²²⁵⁷ body.⁴⁹⁸³

^11C For we²²⁴⁹ which³⁵⁸⁸ live²¹⁹⁸ are³⁸⁶⁰ ➔ alway^1041063 delivered³⁸⁶⁰ unto¹⁵¹⁹ death²²⁸⁸ for¹²²³ ➔ Jesus'²⁴²⁴ sake,¹²²³ that²⁴⁴³ the life²²²² also²⁵³² of Jesus²⁴²⁴ might be made manifest⁵³¹⁹ in¹⁷²² our²²⁵⁷ mortal²³⁴⁹ flesh.⁴⁵⁶¹

^12C So⁵⁶²⁰ then³³⁰³ death²²⁸⁸ worketh¹⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² us,²²⁵⁴ but¹¹⁶¹ life²²²² in¹⁷²² you.⁵²¹³

^{13C 1161} We having²¹⁹² the same⁸⁴⁶ spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of faith,⁴¹⁰² according as²⁵⁹⁶ it is written,¹¹²⁵ I believed,⁴¹⁰⁰ and therefore¹³⁵² have I spoken;²⁹⁸⁰ we²²⁴⁹ also²⁵³² believe,⁴¹⁰⁰ and²⁵³² therefore¹³⁵² speak;²⁹⁸⁰

^14C Knowing¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ he which raised up¹⁴⁵³ the Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ shall raise up¹⁴⁵³ us²²⁴⁸ also²⁵³² by¹²²³ Jesus,²⁴²⁴ and²⁵³² shall present³⁹³⁶ us with⁴⁸⁶² you.⁵²¹³

^15C For¹⁰⁶³ all things³⁹⁵⁶ are for¹²²³ ➔ your⁵²⁰⁹ sakes,¹²²³ that²⁴⁴³ the abundant⁴¹²¹ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ might⁴⁰⁵² ➔ through¹²²³ the thanksgiving²¹⁶⁹ of many⁴¹¹⁹ redound⁴⁰⁵² to¹⁵¹⁹ the glory¹³⁹¹ of God.²³¹⁶

^16C For which cause¹³⁵² we faint¹⁵⁷³ not;³⁷⁵⁶ but²³⁵ though¹⁴⁹⁹ our²²⁵⁷ outward¹⁸⁵⁴ man⁴⁴⁴ perish,¹³¹¹ yet²³⁵ the inward²⁰⁸¹ man is renewed³⁴¹ day²²⁵⁰ by²⁵³² day.²²⁵⁰

^17C For¹⁰⁶³ our²²⁵⁷ light¹⁶⁴⁵ affliction,²³⁴⁷ which³⁵⁸⁸ is but for a moment,³⁹¹⁰ worketh²⁷¹⁶ for us²²⁵⁴ a far^25965236 more exceeding^15195236 and eternal¹⁶⁶ weight⁹²² of glory;¹³⁹¹

^18C While⁴⁶⁴⁸ ➔ we²²⁵⁷ look⁴⁶⁴⁸ ➔ not³³⁶¹ at⁴⁶⁴⁸ the things which are seen,⁹⁹¹ but²³⁵ at the things which are⁹⁹¹ ➔ not³³⁶¹ seen:⁹⁹¹ for¹⁰⁶³ the things which are seen⁹⁹¹ are temporal;⁴³⁴⁰ but¹¹⁶¹ the things which are⁹⁹¹ ➔ not³³⁶¹ seen⁹⁹¹ are eternal.¹⁶⁶

5^CFor¹⁰⁶³ we know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ if¹⁴³⁷ our²²⁵⁷ earthly¹⁹¹⁹ house³⁶¹⁴ of this tabernacle⁴⁶³⁶ were dissolved,²⁶⁴⁷ we have²¹⁹² a building³⁶¹⁹ of¹⁵³⁷ God,²³¹⁶ an house³⁶¹⁴ not made with hands,⁸⁸⁶ eternal¹⁶⁶ in¹⁷²² the heavens.³⁷⁷²

^2C For^25321063 in¹⁷²² this⁵¹²⁹ we groan,⁴⁷²⁷ earnestly desiring¹⁹⁷¹ to be clothed upon¹⁹⁰² with our²²⁵⁷ house³⁶¹³ which³⁵⁸⁸ is from¹⁵³⁷ heaven:³⁷⁷²

^3C If¹⁴⁸⁹ so²⁵³² be that being clothed¹⁷⁴⁶ we shall²¹⁴⁷ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ be found²¹⁴⁷ naked.¹¹³¹

^4C For^25321063 we that are⁵⁶⁰⁷ in¹⁷²² this tabernacle⁴⁶³⁶ do groan,⁴⁷²⁷ being burdened:⁹¹⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ for that¹⁸⁹⁴ we would²³⁰⁹ be unclothed,¹⁵⁶² but²³⁵ clothed upon,¹⁹⁰² that²⁴⁴³ mortality²³⁴⁹ might be swallowed up²⁶⁶⁶ of⁵²⁵⁹ life.²²²²

^5C Now¹¹⁶¹ he that hath wrought²⁷¹⁶ us²²⁴⁸ for¹⁵¹⁹ the selfsame thing^8465124 is God,²³¹⁶ who³⁵⁸⁸ also²⁵³² hath given¹³²⁵ unto us²²⁵⁴ the earnest⁷²⁸ of the Spirit.⁴¹⁵¹

^6C Therefore^37672532 we are always³⁸⁴² confident,²²⁹² knowing¹⁴⁹² that,³⁷⁵⁴ whilst we are at home¹⁷³⁶ in¹⁷²² the body,⁴⁹⁸³ we are absent¹⁵⁵³ from⁵⁷⁵ the Lord:²⁹⁶²

^7C (For¹⁰⁶³ we walk⁴⁰⁴³ by¹²²³ faith,⁴¹⁰² not³⁷⁵⁶ by¹²²³ sight:)¹⁴⁹¹

^8C We are confident,²²⁹² I say, and^11612532 willing²¹⁰⁶ rather³¹²³ to be absent¹⁵⁵³ from¹⁵³⁷ the body,⁴⁹⁸³ and²⁵³² to be present¹⁷³⁶ with⁴³¹⁴ the Lord.²⁹⁶²

^9C Wherefore¹³⁵² we labour,⁵³⁸⁹ that,²⁵³² whether¹⁵³⁵ present¹⁷³⁶ or¹⁵³⁵ absent,¹⁵⁵³ we may be¹⁵¹¹ accepted²¹⁰¹ of him.⁸⁴⁶

^10C For¹⁰⁶³ we²²⁴⁸ must¹¹⁶³ all³⁹⁵⁶ appear⁵³¹⁹ before¹⁷¹⁵ the judgment seat⁹⁶⁸ of Christ;⁵⁵⁴⁷ that²⁴⁴³ every one¹⁵³⁸ may receive²⁸⁶⁵ the things done in¹²²³ his body,⁴⁹⁸³ according⁴³¹⁴ to that³⁷³⁹ he hath done,⁴²³⁸ whether¹⁵³⁵ it be good¹⁸ or¹⁵³⁵ bad.²⁵⁵⁶

^11C Knowing¹⁴⁹² therefore³⁷⁶⁷ the terror⁵⁴⁰¹ of the Lord,²⁹⁶² we persuade³⁹⁸² men;⁴⁴⁴ but¹¹⁶¹ we are made manifest⁵³¹⁹ unto God;²³¹⁶ and¹¹⁶¹ I trust¹⁶⁷⁹ also²⁵³² are made manifest⁵³¹⁹ in¹⁷²² your⁵²¹⁶ consciences.⁴⁸⁹³

^12C For¹⁰⁶³ we commend⁴⁹²¹ not³⁷⁵⁶ ourselves¹⁴³⁸ again³⁸²⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ but²³⁵ give¹³²⁵ you⁵²¹³ occasion⁸⁷⁴ to glory²⁷⁴⁵ on⁵²²⁸ ➔ our²²⁵⁷ behalf,⁵²²⁸ that²⁴⁴³ ye may have²¹⁹² somewhat to⁴³¹⁴ answer them which glory²⁷⁴⁴ in¹⁷²² appearance,⁴³⁸³ and²⁵³² not³⁷⁵⁶ in heart.²⁵⁸⁸

^13C For¹⁰⁶³ whether¹⁵³⁵ we be beside ourselves,¹⁸³⁹ it is to God:²³¹⁶ or whether¹⁵³⁵ we be sober,⁴⁹⁹³ it is for your cause.⁵²¹³

^14C For¹⁰⁶³ the love²⁶ of Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ constraineth⁴⁹¹² us;²²⁴⁸ because we thus⁵¹²⁴ judge,²⁹¹⁹ that³⁷⁵⁴ if¹⁴⁸⁷ one¹⁵²⁰ died⁵⁹⁹ for⁵²²⁸ all,³⁹⁵⁶ then⁶⁸⁶ were⁵⁹⁹ ➔ all³⁹⁵⁶ dead:⁵⁹⁹

^15C And²⁵³² that he died⁵⁹⁹ for⁵²²⁸ all,³⁹⁵⁶ that²⁴⁴³ they which live²¹⁹⁸ should²¹⁹⁸ ➔ not henceforth³³⁷¹ live²¹⁹⁸ unto themselves,¹⁴³⁸ but²³⁵ unto him which died⁵⁹⁹ for⁵²²⁸ them,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² rose again.¹⁴⁵³

^16C Wherefore⁵⁶²⁰ henceforth^5753568 know¹⁴⁹² we²²⁴⁹ no man³⁷⁶² after²⁵⁹⁶ the flesh:⁴⁵⁶¹ yea,¹¹⁶¹ though¹⁴⁹⁹ we have known¹⁰⁹⁷ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ after²⁵⁹⁶ the flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ yet²³⁵ now³⁵⁶⁸ henceforth³⁷⁶⁵ ➔ know we¹⁰⁹⁷ him no more.³⁷⁶⁵

^17C Therefore⁵⁶²⁰ if any man¹⁵³⁶ be in¹⁷²² Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ he is a new²⁵³⁷ creature:²⁹³⁷ old things⁷⁴⁴ are passed away;³⁹²⁸ behold,²⁴⁰⁰ all things³⁹⁵⁶ are become¹⁰⁹⁶ new.²⁵³⁷

^18C And¹¹⁶¹ all things³⁹⁵⁶ are of¹⁵³⁷ God,²³¹⁶ who³⁵⁸⁸ hath reconciled²⁶⁴⁴ us²²⁴⁸ to himself¹⁴³⁸ by¹²²³ Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ and²⁵³² hath given¹³²⁵ to us²²⁵⁴ the ministry¹²⁴⁸ of reconciliation;²⁶⁴³

^19C To wit,⁵⁶¹³ that³⁷⁵⁴ God²³¹⁶ was²²⁵⁸ in¹⁷²² Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ reconciling²⁶⁴⁴ the world²⁸⁸⁹ unto himself,¹⁴³⁸ not³³⁶¹ imputing³⁰⁴⁹ their⁸⁴⁶ trespasses³⁹⁰⁰ unto them;⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² hath committed⁵⁰⁸⁷ unto¹⁷²² us²²⁵⁴ the word³⁰⁵⁶ of reconciliation.²⁶⁴³

^20C Now then³⁷⁶⁷ we are ambassadors⁴²⁴³ for⁵²²⁸ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ as though⁵⁶¹³ God²³¹⁶ did beseech³⁸⁷⁰ you by¹²²³ us:²²⁵⁷ we pray¹¹⁸⁹ you in⁵²²⁸ ➔ Christ's⁵⁵⁴⁷ stead,⁵²²⁸ be ye reconciled²⁶⁴⁴ to God.²³¹⁶

^21C For¹⁰⁶³ he hath made⁴¹⁶⁰ him to be sin²⁶⁶ for⁵²²⁸ us,²²⁵⁷ who³⁵⁸⁸ knew¹⁰⁹⁷ no³³⁶¹ sin;²⁶⁶ that²⁴⁴³ we²²⁴⁹ might be made¹⁰⁹⁶ the righteousness¹³⁴³ of God²³¹⁶ in¹⁷²² him.⁸⁴⁶

6^CWe³⁸⁷⁰ ➔ then,¹¹⁶¹ as workers together⁴⁹⁰³ with him, beseech³⁸⁷⁰ you also²⁵³² that ye⁵²⁰⁹ receive¹²⁰⁹ not³³⁶¹ the grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of God²³¹⁶ in¹⁵¹⁹ vain.²⁷⁵⁶

^2C (For¹⁰⁶³ he saith,³⁰⁰⁴ I have heard¹⁸⁷³ thee⁴⁶⁷⁵ in a time²⁵⁴⁰ accepted,¹¹⁸⁴ and²⁵³² in¹⁷²² the day²²⁵⁰ of salvation⁴⁹⁹¹ have I succoured⁹⁹⁷ thee:⁴⁶⁷¹ behold,²⁴⁰⁰ now³⁵⁶⁸ is the accepted²¹⁴⁴ time;²⁵⁴⁰ behold,²⁴⁰⁰ now³⁵⁶⁸ is the day²²⁵⁰ of salvation.)⁴⁹⁹¹

^3C Giving¹³²⁵ no³³⁶⁷ offence⁴³⁴⁹ in¹⁷²² any thing,³³⁶⁷ that³³⁶³ ➔ the ministry¹²⁴⁸ be³⁴⁶⁹ ➔ not³³⁶³ blamed:³⁴⁶⁹

^4C But²³⁵ in¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ things approving⁴⁹²¹ ourselves¹⁴³⁸ as⁵⁶¹³ the ministers¹²⁴⁹ of God,²³¹⁶ in¹⁷²² much⁴¹⁸³ patience,⁵²⁸¹ in¹⁷²² afflictions,²³⁴⁷ in¹⁷²² necessities,³¹⁸ in¹⁷²² distresses,⁴⁷³⁰

^5C In¹⁷²² stripes,⁴¹²⁷ in¹⁷²² imprisonments,⁵⁴³⁸ in¹⁷²² tumults,¹⁸¹ in¹⁷²² labours,²⁸⁷³ in¹⁷²² watchings,⁷⁰ in¹⁷²² fastings;³⁵²¹

^6C By¹⁷²² pureness,⁵⁴ by¹⁷²² knowledge,¹¹⁰⁸ by¹⁷²² longsuffering,³¹¹⁵ by¹⁷²² kindness,⁵⁵⁴⁴ by¹⁷²² the Holy⁴⁰ Ghost,⁴¹⁵¹ by¹⁷²² love²⁶ unfeigned,⁵⁰⁵

⁷ By¹⁷²² the word³⁰⁵⁶ of truth,²²⁵ by¹⁷²² the power¹⁴¹¹ of God,²³¹⁶ by¹²²³ the armour³⁶⁹⁶ of righteousness¹³⁴³ on the right hand¹¹⁸⁸ and²⁵³² on the left,⁷¹⁰

^8C By¹²²³ honour¹³⁹¹ and²⁵³² dishonour,⁸¹⁹ by¹²²³ evil report¹⁴²⁶ and²⁵³² good report:²¹⁶² as⁵⁶¹³ deceivers,⁴¹⁰⁸ and²⁵³² yet true;²²⁷

⁹ As⁵⁶¹³ unknown,⁵⁰ and²⁵³² yet well known;¹⁹²¹ as⁵⁶¹³ dying,⁵⁹⁹ and,²⁵³² behold,²⁴⁰⁰ we live;²¹⁹⁸ as⁵⁶¹³ chastened,³⁸¹¹ and²⁵³² not³³⁶¹ killed;²²⁸⁹

^10C As⁵⁶¹³ sorrowful,³⁰⁷⁶ yet¹¹⁶¹ alway¹⁰⁴ rejoicing;⁵⁴⁶³ as⁵⁶¹³ poor,⁴⁴³⁴ yet¹¹⁶¹ making⁴¹⁴⁸ ➔ many⁴¹⁸³ rich;⁴¹⁴⁸ as⁵⁶¹³ having²¹⁹² nothing,³³⁶⁷ and²⁵³² yet possessing²⁷²² all things.³⁹⁵⁶

¹¹ O ye Corinthians,²⁸⁸¹ our²²⁵⁷ mouth⁴⁷⁵⁰ is open⁴⁵⁵ unto⁴³¹⁴ you,⁵²⁰⁹ our²²⁵⁷ heart²⁵⁸⁸ is enlarged.⁴¹¹⁵

¹² Ye are⁴⁷²⁹ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ straitened⁴⁷²⁹ in¹⁷²² us,²²⁵⁴ but¹¹⁶¹ ye are straitened⁴⁷²⁹ in¹⁷²² your own⁵²¹⁶ bowels.⁴⁶⁹⁸

¹³ Now¹¹⁶¹ for a recompence⁴⁸⁹ in the same,⁸⁴⁶ (I speak³⁰⁰⁴ as⁵⁶¹³ unto my children,)⁵⁰⁴³ be⁴¹¹⁵ ➔ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² enlarged.⁴¹¹⁵

^14C Be ye¹⁰⁹⁶ not³³⁶¹ unequally yoked together²⁰⁸⁶ with unbelievers:⁵⁷¹ for¹⁰⁶³ what⁵¹⁰¹ fellowship³³⁵² hath righteousness¹³⁴³ with²⁵³² unrighteousness?⁴⁵⁸ and¹¹⁶¹ what⁵¹⁰¹ communion²⁸⁴² hath light⁵⁴⁵⁷ with⁴³¹⁴ darkness?⁴⁶⁵⁵

^15C And¹¹⁶¹ what⁵¹⁰¹ concord⁴⁸⁵⁷ hath Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ with⁴³¹⁴ Belial?⁹⁵⁵ or²²²⁸ what⁵¹⁰¹ part³³¹⁰ hath he that believeth⁴¹⁰³ with³³²⁶ an infidel?⁵⁷¹

^16C And¹¹⁶¹ what⁵¹⁰¹ agreement⁴⁷⁸³ hath the temple³⁴⁸⁵ of God²³¹⁶ with³³²⁶ idols?¹⁴⁹⁷ for¹⁰⁶³ ye⁵²¹⁰ are²⁰⁷⁵ the temple³⁴⁸⁵ of the living²¹⁹⁸ God;²³¹⁶ as²⁵³¹ God²³¹⁶ hath said,^20363754 I will dwell¹⁷⁷⁴ in¹⁷²² them,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² walk in¹⁷⁰⁴ them; and²⁵³² I will be²⁰⁷¹ their⁸⁴⁶ God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² they⁸⁴⁶ shall be²⁰⁷¹ my³⁴²⁷ people.²⁹⁹²

^17C Wherefore¹³⁵² come out¹⁸³¹ from¹⁵³⁷ among³³¹⁹ them,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² be ye separate,⁸⁷³ saith³⁰⁰⁴ the Lord,²⁹⁶² and²⁵³² touch⁶⁸⁰ not³³⁶¹ the unclean¹⁶⁹ thing; and²⁵⁰⁴ I will receive¹⁵²³ you,⁵²⁰⁹

^18C And²⁵³² will be^20711519 a Father³⁹⁶² unto you,⁵²¹³ and²⁵³² ye⁵²¹⁰ shall be²⁰⁷¹ my³⁴²⁷ sons^52071519 and²⁵³² daughters,²³⁶⁴ saith³⁰⁰⁴ the Lord²⁹⁶² Almighty.³⁸⁴¹

7^CHaving²¹⁹² therefore³⁷⁶⁷ these⁵⁰²⁵ promises,¹⁸⁶⁰ dearly beloved,²⁷ let us cleanse²⁵¹¹ ourselves¹⁴³⁸ from⁵⁷⁵ all³⁹⁵⁶ filthiness³⁴³⁶ of the flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ and²⁵³² spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ perfecting²⁰⁰⁵ holiness⁴² in¹⁷²² the fear⁵⁴⁰¹ of God.²³¹⁶

^4C Great⁴¹⁸³ is my³⁴²⁷ boldness of speech³⁹⁵⁴ toward⁴³¹⁴ you,⁵²⁰⁹ great⁴¹⁸³ is my³⁴²⁷ glorying²⁷⁴⁶ of⁵²²⁸ you:⁵²¹⁶ I am filled⁴¹³⁷ with comfort,³⁸⁷⁴ I am exceeding⁵²⁴⁸ joyful⁵⁴⁷⁹ in¹⁹⁰⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ our²²⁵⁷ tribulation.²³⁴⁷

⁵ For,^10632532 when we²²⁵⁷ were come²⁰⁶⁴ into¹⁵¹⁹ Macedonia,³¹⁰⁹ our²²⁵⁷ flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ had²¹⁹² no³⁷⁶² rest,⁴²⁵ but²³⁵ we were troubled²³⁴⁶ on¹⁷²² every side;³⁹⁵⁶ without¹⁸⁵⁵ were fightings,³¹⁶³ within²⁰⁸¹ were fears.⁵⁴⁰¹

^6C Nevertheless²³⁵ God,²³¹⁶ that comforteth³⁸⁷⁰ those that are cast down,⁵⁰¹¹ comforted³⁸⁷⁰ us²²⁴⁸ by¹⁷²² the coming³⁹⁵² of Titus;⁵¹⁰³

^7C And¹¹⁶¹ not³⁷⁵⁶ by¹⁷²² his⁸⁴⁶ coming³⁹⁵² only,³⁴⁴⁰ but^2352532 by¹⁷²² the consolation³⁸⁷⁴ wherewith³⁷³⁹ he was comforted³⁸⁷⁰ in¹⁹⁰⁹ you,⁵²¹³ when he told³¹² us²²⁵⁴ your⁵²¹⁶ earnest desire,¹⁹⁷² your⁵²¹⁶ mourning,³⁶⁰² your⁵²¹⁶ fervent mind²²⁰⁵ toward⁵²²⁸ me;¹⁷⁰⁰ so⁵⁶²⁰ that I³¹⁶⁵ rejoiced⁵⁴⁶³ the more.³¹²³

⁸ For³⁷⁵⁴ though¹⁴⁹⁹ I made³⁰⁷⁶ ➔ you⁵²⁰⁹ sorry³⁰⁷⁶ with¹⁷²² a letter,¹⁹⁹² I do³³³⁸ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ repent,³³³⁸ though¹⁴⁹⁹ I did repent:³³³⁸ for¹⁰⁶³ I perceive⁹⁹¹ that³⁷⁵⁴ the same¹⁵⁶⁵ epistle¹⁹⁹² hath made³⁰⁷⁶ ➔ you⁵²⁰⁹ sorry,³⁰⁷⁶ though it were but¹⁴⁹⁹ for⁴³¹⁴ a season.⁵⁶¹⁰

^9C Now³⁵⁶⁸ I rejoice,⁵⁴⁶³ not³⁷⁵⁶ that³⁷⁵⁴ ye were made sorry,³⁰⁷⁶ but²³⁵ that³⁷⁵⁴ ye sorrowed³⁰⁷⁶ to¹⁵¹⁹ repentance:³³⁴¹ for¹⁰⁶³ ye were made sorry³⁰⁷⁶ after²⁵⁹⁶ a godly manner,²³¹⁶ that²⁴⁴³ ye might receive damage²²¹⁰ by¹⁵³⁷ us²²⁵⁷ in¹⁷²² nothing.³³⁶⁷

^10C For¹⁰⁶³ godly^23162596 sorrow³⁰⁷⁷ worketh²⁷¹⁶ repentance³³⁴¹ to¹⁵¹⁹ salvation⁴⁹⁹¹ not to be repented of:²⁷⁸ but¹¹⁶¹ the sorrow³⁰⁷⁷ of the world²⁸⁸⁹ worketh²⁷¹⁶ death.²²⁸⁸

¹¹ For¹⁰⁶³ behold²⁴⁰⁰ this⁵¹²⁴ selfsame thing,⁸⁴⁶ that⁵²⁰⁹ ye sorrowed³⁰⁷⁶ after²⁵⁹⁶ a godly sort,²³¹⁶ what⁴²¹⁴ carefulness⁴⁷¹⁰ it wrought²⁷¹⁶ in you,⁵²¹³ yea,²³⁵ what clearing of yourselves,⁶²⁷ yea,²³⁵ what indignation,²⁴ yea,²³⁵ what fear,⁵⁴⁰¹ yea,²³⁵ what vehement desire,¹⁹⁷² yea,²³⁵ what zeal,²²⁰⁵ yea,²³⁵ what revenge!¹⁵⁵⁷ In¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ things ye have approved⁴⁹²¹ yourselves¹⁴³⁸ to be¹⁵¹¹ clear⁵³ in¹⁷²² this matter.⁴²²⁹

¹² Wherefore,⁶⁸⁶ though¹⁴⁹⁹ I wrote¹¹²⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ I did it not³⁷⁵⁶ for his cause¹⁷⁵² that had done the wrong,⁹¹ nor³⁷⁶¹ for his cause¹⁷⁵² that suffered wrong,⁹¹ but²³⁵ that¹⁷⁵² our²²⁵⁷ care⁴⁷¹⁰ for⁵²²⁸ you⁵²¹⁶ in the sight¹⁷⁹⁹ of God²³¹⁶ might appear⁵³¹⁹ unto⁴³¹⁴ you.⁵²⁰⁹

^13C Therefore^12235124 we were comforted³⁸⁷⁰ in¹⁹⁰⁹ your⁵²¹⁶ comfort:³⁸⁷⁴ yea, and¹¹⁶¹ exceedingly⁴⁰⁵⁶ the more³¹²³ joyed we⁵⁴⁶³ for¹⁹⁰⁹ the joy⁵⁴⁷⁹ of Titus,⁵¹⁰³ because³⁷⁵⁴ his⁸⁴⁶ spirit⁴¹⁵¹ was refreshed³⁷³ by⁵⁷⁵ you⁵²¹⁶ all.³⁹⁵⁶

¹⁴ For³⁷⁵⁴ if I have boasted²⁷⁴⁴ any thing¹⁵³⁶ to him⁸⁴⁶ of⁵²²⁸ you,⁵²¹⁶ I am²⁶¹⁷ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ ashamed;²⁶¹⁷ but²³⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ we spake²⁹⁸⁰ all things³⁹⁵⁶ to you⁵²¹³ in¹⁷²² truth,²²⁵ even²⁵³² so³⁷⁷⁹ our²²⁵⁷ boasting,²⁷⁴⁶ which³⁵⁸⁸ I made before¹⁹⁰⁹ Titus,⁵¹⁰³ is found¹⁰⁹⁶ a truth.²²⁵

¹⁵ And²⁵³² his⁸⁴⁶ inward affection⁴⁶⁹⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ more abundant⁴⁰⁵⁶ toward¹⁵¹⁹ you,⁵²⁰⁹ whilst he remembereth³⁶³ the obedience⁵²¹⁸ of you⁵²¹⁶ all,³⁹⁵⁶ how⁵⁶¹³ with³³²⁶ fear⁵⁴⁰¹ and²⁵³² trembling⁵¹⁵⁶ ye received¹²⁰⁹ him.⁸⁴⁶

¹⁶ I rejoice⁵⁴⁶³ therefore that³⁷⁵⁴ I have confidence²²⁹² in¹⁷²² you⁵²¹³ in¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ things.

8^CMoreover,¹¹⁶¹ brethren,⁸⁰ we do¹¹⁰⁷ ➔ you⁵²¹³ to wit¹¹⁰⁷ of the grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of God²³¹⁶ bestowed¹³²⁵ on¹⁷²² the churches¹⁵⁷⁷ of Macedonia;³¹⁰⁹

^2C How that³⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² a great⁴¹⁸³ trial¹³⁸² of affliction²³⁴⁷ the abundance⁴⁰⁵⁰ of their⁸⁴⁶ joy⁵⁴⁷⁹ and²⁵³² their⁸⁴⁶ deep⁸⁹⁹ poverty^25964432 abounded⁴⁰⁵² unto¹⁵¹⁹ the riches⁴¹⁴⁹ of their⁸⁴⁶ liberality.⁵⁷²

^3C For³⁷⁵⁴ to²⁵⁹⁶ their power,¹⁴¹¹ I bear record,³¹⁴⁰ yea, and²⁵³² beyond⁵²²⁸ their power¹⁴¹¹ they were willing of themselves;⁸³⁰

^4C Praying¹¹⁸⁹ us²²⁵⁷ with³³²⁶ much⁴¹⁸³ intreaty³⁸⁷⁴ that we²²⁴⁸ would receive¹²⁰⁹ the gift,⁵⁴⁸⁵ and²⁵³² take upon us the fellowship²⁸⁴² of the ministering¹²⁴⁸ to¹⁵¹⁹ the saints.⁴⁰

^5C And²⁵³² this they did, not³⁷⁵⁶ as²⁵³¹ we hoped,¹⁶⁷⁹ but²³⁵ first⁴⁴¹² gave¹³²⁵ their own selves¹⁴³⁸ to the Lord,²⁹⁶² and²⁵³² unto us²²⁵⁴ by¹²²³ the will²³⁰⁷ of God.²³¹⁶

^6C Insomuch¹⁵¹⁹ that we²²⁴⁸ desired³⁸⁷⁰ Titus,⁵¹⁰³ that²⁴⁴³ as²⁵³¹ he had begun,⁴²⁷⁸ so³⁷⁷⁹ he would²⁰⁰⁵ ➔ also²⁵³² finish²⁰⁰⁵ in¹⁵¹⁹ you⁵²⁰⁹ the same⁵⁰²⁶ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ also.²⁵³²

^7C Therefore,²³⁵ as⁵⁶¹⁸ ye abound⁴⁰⁵² in¹⁷²² every³⁹⁵⁶ thing, in faith,⁴¹⁰² and²⁵³² utterance,³⁰⁵⁶ and²⁵³² knowledge,¹¹⁰⁸ and²⁵³² in all³⁹⁵⁶ diligence,⁴⁷¹⁰ and²⁵³² in your⁵²¹⁶ love²⁶¹⁵³⁷ to¹⁷²² us,²²⁵⁴ see that²⁴⁴³ ye abound⁴⁰⁵² in¹⁷²² this⁵⁰²⁶ grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ also.²⁵³²

^8C I speak³⁰⁰⁴ not³⁷⁵⁶ by²⁵⁹⁶ commandment,²⁰⁰³ but²³⁵ by occasion¹²²³ of the forwardness⁴⁷¹⁰ of others,²⁰⁸⁷ and²⁵³² to prove¹³⁸¹ the sincerity¹¹⁰³ of your⁵²¹² love.²⁶

^9C For¹⁰⁶³ ye know¹⁰⁹⁷ the grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ of our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ that,³⁷⁵⁴ though he was⁵⁶⁰⁷ rich,⁴¹⁴⁵ yet for¹²²³ ➔ your⁵²⁰⁹ sakes¹²²³ he became poor,⁴⁴³³ that²⁴⁴³ ye⁵²¹⁰ through his¹⁵⁶⁵ poverty⁴⁴³² might be rich.⁴¹⁴⁷

^10C And²⁵³² herein^17225129 I give¹³²⁵ my advice:¹¹⁰⁶ for¹⁰⁶³ this⁵¹²⁴ is expedient⁴⁸⁵¹ for you,⁵²¹³ who³⁷⁴⁸ have begun before,⁴²⁷⁸ not³⁷⁵⁶ only³⁴⁴⁰ to do,⁴¹⁶⁰ but²³⁵ also²⁵³² to be forward²³⁰⁹ a year⁴⁰⁷⁰ ago.⁵⁷⁵

^11C Now^35701161 therefore²⁵³² perform²⁰⁰⁵ the doing⁴¹⁶⁰ of it; that³⁷⁰⁴ as²⁵⁰⁹ there was a readiness⁴²⁸⁸ to will,²³⁰⁹ so³⁷⁷⁹ there may be a performance²⁰⁰⁵ also²⁵³² out of¹⁵³⁷ that which ye have.²¹⁹²

^12C For¹⁰⁶³ if there¹⁴⁸⁷ be first⁴²⁹⁵ a willing mind,⁴²⁸⁸ it is accepted²¹⁴⁴ according to²⁵²⁶ that¹⁴³⁷ a man⁵¹⁰⁰ hath,²¹⁹² and not³⁷⁵⁶ according to that²⁵²⁶ he hath²¹⁹² not.³⁷⁵⁶

¹³ For¹⁰⁶³ I mean not³⁷⁵⁶ that²⁴⁴³ other men²⁴³ be eased,⁴²⁵ and¹¹⁶¹ ye⁵²¹³ burdened:²³⁴⁷

^14C But²³⁵ by¹⁵³⁷ an equality,²⁴⁷¹ that now³⁵⁶⁸ at¹⁷²² this time²⁵⁴⁰ your⁵²¹⁶ abundance⁴⁰⁵¹ may be a supply for¹⁵¹⁹ their¹⁵⁶⁵ want,⁵³⁰³ that²⁴⁴³ their¹⁵⁶⁵ abundance⁴⁰⁵¹ also²⁵³² may be¹⁰⁹⁶ a supply for¹⁵¹⁹ your⁵²¹⁶ want:⁵³⁰³ that³⁷⁰⁴ there may be¹⁰⁹⁶ equality:²⁴⁷¹

¹⁵ As²⁵³¹ it is written,¹¹²⁵ He that had gathered³⁵⁸⁸ much⁴¹⁸³ had⁴¹²¹ ➔ nothing³⁷⁵⁶ over;⁴¹²¹ and²⁵³² he that had gathered³⁵⁸⁸ little³⁶⁴¹ had¹⁶⁴¹ ➔ no³⁷⁵⁶ lack.¹⁶⁴¹

¹⁶ But¹¹⁶¹ thanks⁵⁴⁸⁵ be to God,²³¹⁶ which³⁵⁸⁸ put¹³²⁵ the same⁸⁴⁶ earnest care⁴⁷¹⁰ into¹⁷²² the heart²⁵⁸⁸ of Titus⁵¹⁰³ for⁵²²⁸ you.⁵²¹⁶

^17C For³⁷⁵⁴ indeed³³⁰³ he accepted¹²⁰⁹ the exhortation;³⁸⁷⁴ but¹¹⁶¹ being⁵²²⁵ more forward,⁴⁷⁰⁷ of his own accord⁸³⁰ he went¹⁸³¹ unto⁴³¹⁴ you.⁵²⁰⁹

^18C And¹¹⁶¹ we have sent⁴⁸⁴² with³³²⁶ him⁸⁴⁶ the brother,⁸⁰ whose³⁷³⁹ praise¹⁸⁶⁸ is in¹⁷²² the gospel²⁰⁹⁸ throughout¹²²³ all³⁹⁵⁶ the churches;¹⁵⁷⁷

^19C And¹¹⁶¹ not³⁷⁵⁶ that only,³⁴⁴⁰ but²³⁵ who was⁵⁵⁰⁰ ➔ also²⁵³² chosen⁵⁵⁰⁰ of⁵²⁵⁹ the churches¹⁵⁷⁷ to travel⁴⁸⁹⁸ with us²²⁵⁷ with⁴⁸⁶² this⁵⁰²⁶ grace,⁵⁴⁸⁵ which³⁵⁸⁸ is administered¹²⁴⁷ by⁵²⁵⁹ us²²⁵⁷ to⁴³¹⁴ the glory¹³⁹¹ of the same⁸⁴⁶ Lord,²⁹⁶² and²⁵³² declaration of your⁵²¹⁶ ready mind:⁴²⁸⁸

²⁰ Avoiding⁴⁷²⁴ this,⁵¹²⁴ that no³³⁶¹ man⁵¹⁰⁰ should blame³⁴⁶⁹ us²²⁴⁸ in¹⁷²² this⁵⁰²⁶ abundance¹⁰⁰ which³⁵⁸⁸ is administered¹²⁴⁷ by⁵²⁵⁹ us:²²⁵⁷

^21C Providing⁴³⁰⁶ for honest things,²⁵⁷⁰ not³⁷⁵⁶ only³⁴⁴⁰ in the sight¹⁷⁹⁹ of the Lord,²⁹⁶² but²³⁵ also²⁵³² in the sight¹⁷⁹⁹ of men.⁴⁴⁴

²² And¹¹⁶¹ we have sent⁴⁸⁴² with them⁸⁴⁶ our²²⁵⁷ brother,⁸⁰ whom³⁷³⁹ we have¹³⁸¹ ➔ oftentimes⁴¹⁷⁸ proved^13815607 diligent⁴⁷⁰⁵ in¹⁷²² many things,⁴¹⁸³ but¹¹⁶¹ now³⁵⁷⁰ much⁴¹⁸³ more diligent,⁴⁷⁰⁷ upon the great⁴¹⁸³ confidence⁴⁰⁰⁶ which³⁵⁸⁸ I have in¹⁵¹⁹ you.⁵²⁰⁹

^2C For¹⁰⁶³ I know¹⁴⁹² the forwardness of⁴²⁸⁸ ➔ your⁵²¹⁶ mind,⁴²⁸⁸ for which³⁷³⁹ I boast²⁷⁴⁴ of⁵²²⁸ you⁵²¹⁶ to them of Macedonia,³¹¹⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ Achaia⁸⁸² was ready³⁹⁰³ a year⁴⁰⁷⁰ ago;⁵⁷⁵ and²⁵³² your⁵²¹⁶ zeal^22051537 hath provoked²⁰⁴² very many.⁴¹¹⁹

^3C Yet¹¹⁶¹ have I sent³⁹⁹² the brethren,⁸⁰ lest³³⁶³ our²²⁵⁷ boasting²⁷⁴⁵ of⁵²²⁸ you⁵²¹⁶ should be in vain²⁷⁵⁸ in¹⁷²² this⁵¹²⁹ behalf;³³¹³ that,²⁴⁴³ as²⁵³¹ I said,³⁰⁰⁴ ye may be⁵⁶⁰⁰ ready:³⁹⁰³

^4C Lest³³⁸¹ haply⁴⁴⁵⁸ if¹⁴³⁷ they of Macedonia³¹¹⁰ come²⁰⁶⁴ with⁴⁸⁶² me,¹⁶⁹⁸ and²⁵³² find²¹⁴⁷ you⁵²⁰⁹ unprepared,⁵³² we²²⁴⁹ (that³³⁶³ ➔ we say³⁰⁰⁴ not,³³⁶³ ye)⁵²¹⁰ should be ashamed²⁶¹⁷ in¹⁷²² this same⁵⁰²⁶ confident⁵²⁸⁷ boasting.²⁷⁴⁶

^5C Therefore³⁷⁶⁷ I thought²²³³ it necessary³¹⁶ to exhort³⁸⁷⁰ the brethren,⁸⁰ that²⁴⁴³ they would go before⁴²⁸¹ unto¹⁵¹⁹ you,⁵²⁰⁹ and²⁵³² make up beforehand⁴²⁹⁴ your⁵²¹⁶ bounty,²¹²⁹ whereof ye had notice before,⁴²⁹³ that the same⁵⁰²⁶ might be¹⁵¹¹ ready,^20923779 as⁵⁶¹³ a matter of bounty,²¹²⁹ and²⁵³² not³³⁶¹ as⁵⁶¹⁸ of covetousness.⁴¹²⁴

¹³ Whiles by¹²²³ the experiment¹³⁸² of this⁵⁰²⁶ ministration¹²⁴⁸ they glorify¹³⁹² God²³¹⁶ for¹⁹⁰⁹ your⁵²¹⁶ professed³⁶⁷¹ subjection⁵²⁹² unto¹⁵¹⁹ the gospel²⁰⁹⁸ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ and²⁵³² for your liberal⁵⁷² distribution²⁸⁴² unto¹⁵¹⁹ them,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² unto¹⁵¹⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ men;

³ For¹⁰⁶³ though we walk⁴⁰⁴³ in¹⁷²² the flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ we do⁴⁷⁵⁴ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ war⁴⁷⁵⁴ after²⁵⁹⁶ the flesh:⁴⁵⁶¹

^4C (For¹⁰⁶³ the weapons³⁶⁹⁶ of our²²⁵⁷ warfare⁴⁷⁵² are not³⁷⁵⁶ carnal,⁴⁵⁵⁹ but²³⁵ mighty¹⁴¹⁵ through God²³¹⁶ to⁴³¹⁴ the pulling down²⁵⁰⁶ of strong holds;)³⁷⁹⁴

^5C Casting down²⁵⁰⁷ imaginations,³⁰⁵³ and²⁵³² every³⁹⁵⁶ high thing⁵³¹³ that exalteth itself¹⁸⁶⁹ against²⁵⁹⁶ the knowledge¹¹⁰⁸ of God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² bringing into captivity¹⁶³ every³⁹⁵⁶ thought³⁵⁴⁰ to¹⁵¹⁹ the obedience⁵²¹⁸ of Christ;⁵⁵⁴⁷

⁶ And²⁵³² having²¹⁹² in¹⁷²² a readiness²⁰⁹² to revenge¹⁵⁵⁶ all³⁹⁵⁶ disobedience,³⁸⁷⁶ when³⁷⁵² your⁵²¹⁶ obedience⁵²¹⁸ is fulfilled.⁴¹³⁷

^7C Do ye look on⁹⁹¹ things after²⁵⁹⁶ the outward appearance?⁴³⁸³ If any man¹⁵³⁶ trust³⁹⁸² to himself¹⁴³⁸ that he is¹⁵¹¹ Christ's,⁵⁵⁴⁷ let him³⁰⁴⁹ ➔ of⁵⁷⁵ himself¹⁴³⁸ think³⁰⁴⁹ this⁵¹²⁴ again,³⁸²⁵ that,³⁷⁵⁴ as²⁵³¹ he⁸⁴⁶ is Christ's,⁵⁵⁴⁷ even²⁵³² so³⁷⁷⁹ are we²²⁴⁹ Christ's.⁵⁵⁴⁷

^8C For^10632532 though^14375037 I should boast²⁷⁴⁴ somewhat⁵¹⁰⁰ more⁴⁰⁵⁵ of⁴⁰¹² our²²⁵⁷ authority,¹⁸⁴⁹ which³⁷³⁹ the Lord²⁹⁶² hath given¹³²⁵ us²²⁵⁴ for¹⁵¹⁹ edification,³⁶¹⁹ and²⁵³² not³⁷⁵⁶ for¹⁵¹⁹ your⁵²¹⁶ destruction,²⁵⁰⁶ I should¹⁵³ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ be ashamed:¹⁵³

⁹ That³³⁶³ ➔ I may¹³⁸⁰ ➔ not³³⁶³ seem¹³⁸⁰ as⁵⁶¹³ if³⁰² I would terrify¹⁶²⁹ you⁵²⁰⁹ by¹²²³ letters.¹⁹⁹²

^11C Let³⁰⁴⁹ ➔ such an one⁵¹⁰⁸ think³⁰⁴⁹ this,⁵¹²⁴ that,³⁷⁵⁴ such as³⁶³⁴ we are²⁰⁷⁰ in word³⁰⁵⁶ by¹²²³ letters¹⁹⁹² when we are absent,⁵⁴⁸ such⁵¹⁰⁸ will we be also²⁵³² in deed²⁰⁴¹ when we are present.³⁹¹⁸

^12C For¹⁰⁶³ we dare⁵¹¹¹ not³⁷⁵⁶ make¹⁴⁶⁹ ➔ ourselves of the number,¹⁴⁶⁹ or²²²⁸ compare⁴⁷⁹³ ➔ ourselves¹⁴³⁸ with⁴⁷⁹³ some⁵¹⁰⁰ that commend⁴⁹²¹ themselves:¹⁴³⁸ but²³⁵ they⁸⁴⁶ measuring³³⁵⁴ themselves¹⁴³⁸ by¹⁷²² themselves,¹⁴³⁸ and²⁵³² comparing⁴⁷⁹³ ➔ themselves¹⁴³⁸ among⁴⁷⁹³ themselves,¹⁴³⁸ are⁴⁹²⁰ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ wise.⁴⁹²⁰

¹³ But¹¹⁶¹ we²²⁴⁹ will²⁷⁴⁴ ➔ not³⁷⁸⁰ boast²⁷⁴⁴ of things without¹⁵¹⁹ our measure,²⁸⁰ but²³⁵ according²⁵⁹⁶ to the measure³³⁵⁸ of the rule²⁵⁸³ which³⁷³⁹ God²³¹⁶ hath distributed³³⁰⁷ to us,²²⁵⁴ a measure³³⁵⁸ to reach²¹⁸⁵ even²⁵³² unto⁸⁹¹ you.⁵²¹⁶

¹⁵ Not³⁷⁵⁶ boasting²⁷⁴⁴ of things without¹⁵¹⁹ our measure,²⁸⁰ that is, of¹⁷²² other men's²⁴⁵ labours;²⁸⁷³ but¹¹⁶¹ having²¹⁹² hope,¹⁶⁸⁰ when your⁵²¹⁶ faith⁴¹⁰² is increased,⁸³⁷ that we shall be enlarged³¹⁷⁰ by¹⁷²² you⁵²¹³ according²⁵⁹⁶ to our²²⁵⁷ rule²⁵⁸³ abundantly,^15194050

¹⁶ To preach the gospel²⁰⁹⁷ in¹⁵¹⁹ the regions beyond⁵²³⁸ you,⁵²¹⁶ and not³⁷⁵⁶ to boast²⁷⁴⁴ in¹⁷²² another man's²⁴⁵ line²⁵⁸³ of¹⁵¹⁹ things made ready to our hand.²⁰⁹²

¹⁷ But¹¹⁶¹ he that glorieth,²⁷⁴⁴ let him glory²⁷⁴⁴ in¹⁷²² the Lord.²⁹⁶²

¹⁸ For¹⁰⁶³ not³⁷⁵⁶ he¹⁵⁶⁵ that commendeth⁴⁹²¹ himself¹⁴³⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ approved,¹³⁸⁴ but²³⁵ whom³⁷³⁹ the Lord²⁹⁶² commendeth.⁴⁹²¹

11Would to God³⁷⁸⁵ ye could bear⁴³⁰ with me³⁴⁵⁰ a little³³⁹⁷ in my folly:⁸⁷⁷ and²⁵³² indeed²³⁵ bear⁴³⁰ with me.³⁴⁵⁰

^2C For¹⁰⁶³ I am jealous²²⁰⁶ over you⁵²⁰⁹ with godly²³¹⁶ jealousy:²²⁰⁵ for¹⁰⁶³ I have espoused⁷¹⁸ you⁵²⁰⁹ to one¹⁵²⁰ husband,⁴³⁵ that I may present³⁹³⁶ you as a chaste⁵³ virgin³⁹³³ to Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

^3C But¹¹⁶¹ I fear,⁵³⁹⁹ lest³³⁸¹ by any means,⁴⁴⁵⁸ as⁵⁶¹³ the serpent³⁷⁸⁹ beguiled¹⁸¹⁸ Eve²⁰⁹⁶ through¹⁷²² his⁸⁴⁶ subtilty,³⁸³⁴ so³⁷⁷⁹ your⁵²¹⁶ minds³⁵⁴⁰ should be corrupted⁵³⁵¹ from⁵⁷⁵ the simplicity⁵⁷² that is in¹⁵¹⁹ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

^4C For¹⁰⁶³ if^14873303 he that cometh²⁰⁶⁴ preacheth²⁷⁸⁴ another²⁴³ Jesus,²⁴²⁴ whom³⁷³⁹ we have²⁷⁸⁴ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ preached,²⁷⁸⁴ or²²²⁸ if ye receive²⁹⁸³ another²⁰⁸⁷ spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ which³⁷³⁹ ye have²⁹⁸³ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ received,²⁹⁸³ or²²²⁸ another²⁰⁸⁷ gospel,²⁰⁹⁸ which³⁷³⁹ ye have¹²⁰⁹ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ accepted,¹²⁰⁹ ye might⁴³⁰ ➔ well²⁵⁷³ bear with⁴³⁰ him.

^5C For¹⁰⁶³ I suppose³⁰⁴⁹ I was⁵³⁰² ➔ not a whit³³⁶⁷ behind⁵³⁰² the very⁵²²⁸ chiefest³⁰²⁹ apostles.⁶⁵²

^6C But¹¹⁶¹ though¹⁴⁹⁹ I be rude²³⁹⁹ in speech,³⁰⁵⁶ yet²³⁵ not³⁷⁵⁶ in knowledge;¹¹⁰⁸ but²³⁵ we have been throughly^17223956 made manifest⁵³¹⁹ among¹⁵¹⁹ you⁵²⁰⁹ in¹⁷²² all things.³⁹⁵⁶

^{7C 2228} Have I committed⁴¹⁶⁰ an offence²⁶⁶ in abasing⁵⁰¹³ myself¹⁶⁸³ that²⁴⁴³ ye⁵²¹⁰ might be exalted,⁵³¹² because³⁷⁵⁴ I have preached²⁰⁹⁷ to you⁵²¹³ the gospel²⁰⁹⁸ of God²³¹⁶ freely?¹⁴³²

^8C I robbed⁴⁸¹³ other²⁴³ churches,¹⁵⁷⁷ taking²⁹⁸³ wages³⁸⁰⁰ of them, to⁴³¹⁴ do¹²⁴⁸ ➔ you⁵²¹⁶ service.¹²⁴⁸

^9C And²⁵³² when I was present³⁹¹⁸ with⁴³¹⁴ you,⁵²⁰⁹ and²⁵³² wanted,⁵³⁰² I was³⁷⁵⁶ chargeable²⁶⁵⁵ to no man:³⁷⁶² for¹⁰⁶³ that which was lacking⁵³⁰³ to me³⁴⁵⁰ the brethren⁸⁰ which came²⁰⁶⁴ from⁵⁷⁵ Macedonia³¹⁰⁹ supplied:⁴³²² and²⁵³² in¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ things I have kept⁵⁰⁸³ myself¹⁶⁸³ from being burdensome⁴ unto you,⁵²¹³ and²⁵³² so will I keep⁵⁰⁸³ myself.

^10C As the truth²²⁵ of Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ is²⁰⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² me,^16983754 no man³⁷⁵⁶ shall stop^49725420 me^15191691 of this³⁷⁷⁸ boasting²⁷⁴⁶ in¹⁷²² the regions²⁸²⁴ of Achaia.⁸⁸²

¹¹ Wherefore?¹³⁰² because³⁷⁵⁴ I love²⁵ you⁵²⁰⁹ not?³⁷⁵⁶ God²³¹⁶ knoweth.¹⁴⁹²

¹² But¹¹⁶¹ what³⁷³⁹ I do,⁴¹⁶⁰ that²⁵³² I will do,⁴¹⁶⁰ that²⁴⁴³ I may cut off¹⁵⁸¹ occasion⁸⁷⁴ from them which desire²³⁰⁹ occasion;⁸⁷⁴ that²⁴⁴³ wherein^17223739 they glory,²⁷⁴⁴ they may be found²¹⁴⁷ even²⁵³² as²⁵³¹ we.²²⁴⁹

^13C For¹⁰⁶³ such⁵¹⁰⁸ are false apostles,⁵⁵⁷⁰ deceitful¹³⁸⁶ workers,²⁰⁴⁰ transforming themselves³³⁴⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ the apostles⁶⁵² of Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷

^14C And²⁵³² no³⁷⁵⁶ marvel;²²⁹⁸ for¹⁰⁶³ Satan⁴⁵⁶⁷ himself⁸⁴⁶ is transformed³³⁴⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ an angel³² of light.⁵⁴⁵⁷

^15C Therefore³⁷⁶⁷ it is no³⁷⁵⁶ great thing³¹⁷³ if¹⁴⁹⁹ ➔ his⁸⁴⁶ ministers¹²⁴⁹ also¹⁴⁹⁹ be transformed³³⁴⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ the ministers¹²⁴⁹ of righteousness;¹³⁴³ whose³⁷³⁹ end⁵⁰⁵⁶ shall be²⁰⁷¹ according²⁵⁹⁶ to their⁸⁴⁶ works.²⁰⁴¹

¹⁶ I say³⁰⁰⁴ again,³⁸²⁵ Let¹³⁸⁰ ➔ no³³⁶¹ man⁵¹⁰⁰ think¹³⁸⁰ me^15113165 a fool;⁸⁷⁸ if otherwise,¹⁴⁹⁰ yet²⁵⁷⁹ as⁵⁶¹³ a fool⁸⁷⁸ receive¹²⁰⁹ me,³¹⁶⁵ that²⁴⁴³ I²⁵⁰⁴ may boast myself²⁷⁴⁴ a⁵¹⁰⁰ little.³³⁹⁷

¹⁷ That which³⁷³⁹ I speak,²⁹⁸⁰ I speak²⁹⁸⁰ it not³⁷⁵⁶ after²⁵⁹⁶ the Lord,²⁹⁶² but²³⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ it were foolishly,^1722877 in¹⁷²² this⁵⁰²⁶ confidence⁵²⁸⁷ of boasting.²⁷⁴⁶

¹⁸ Seeing that¹⁸⁹³ many⁴¹⁸³ glory²⁷⁴⁴ after²⁵⁹⁶ the flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ I will glory²⁷⁴⁴ also.²⁵⁰⁴

^19C For¹⁰⁶³ ye suffer⁴³⁰ fools⁸⁷⁸ gladly,²²³⁴ seeing ye yourselves are⁵⁶⁰⁷ wise.⁵⁴²⁹

^20C For¹⁰⁶³ ye suffer,⁴³⁰ if a man¹⁵³⁶ bring²⁶¹⁵ ➔ you⁵²⁰⁹ into bondage,²⁶¹⁵ if a man¹⁵³⁶ devour²⁷¹⁹ you, if a man¹⁵³⁶ take²⁹⁸³ of you, if a man¹⁵³⁶ exalt himself,¹⁸⁶⁹ if a man¹⁵³⁶ smite¹¹⁹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ on¹⁵¹⁹ the face.⁴³⁸³

^21C I speak³⁰⁰⁴ as concerning²⁵⁹⁶ reproach,⁸¹⁹ as⁵⁶¹³ though³⁷⁵⁴ we²²⁴⁹ had been weak.⁷⁷⁰ Howbeit¹¹⁶¹ whereinsoever^17223739302 any⁵¹⁰⁰ is bold,⁵¹¹¹ (I speak³⁰⁰⁴ foolishly,)^1722877 I am bold⁵¹¹¹ also.²⁵⁰⁴

^22C Are they¹⁵²⁶ Hebrews?¹⁴⁴⁵ so am I.²⁵⁰⁴ Are they¹⁵²⁶ Israelites?²⁴⁷⁵ so am I.²⁵⁰⁴ Are they¹⁵²⁶ the seed⁴⁶⁹⁰ of Abraham?¹¹ so am I.²⁵⁰⁴

^23C Are they¹⁵²⁶ ministers¹²⁴⁹ of Christ?⁵⁵⁴⁷ (I speak²⁹⁸⁰ as a fool³⁹¹²) I¹⁴⁷³ am more;⁵²²⁸ in¹⁷²² labours²⁸⁷³ more abundant,⁴⁰⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² stripes⁴¹²⁷ above measure,⁵²³⁴ in¹⁷²² prisons⁵⁴³⁸ more frequent,⁴⁰⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² deaths²²⁸⁸ oft.⁴¹⁷⁸

²⁴ Of⁵²⁵⁹ the Jews²⁴⁵³ five times³⁹⁹⁹ received I²⁹⁸³ forty⁵⁰⁶² stripes save³⁸⁴⁴ one.³³⁹¹

^25C Thrice⁵¹⁵¹ was I beaten with rods,⁴⁴⁶³ once⁵³⁰ was I stoned,³⁰³⁴ thrice⁵¹⁵¹ I suffered shipwreck,³⁴⁸⁹ a night and a day³⁵⁷⁴ I have been⁴¹⁶⁰ in¹⁷²² the deep;¹⁰³⁷

^26C In journeyings³⁵⁹⁷ often,⁴¹⁷⁸ in perils²⁷⁹⁴ of waters,⁴²¹⁵ in perils²⁷⁹⁴ of robbers,³⁰²⁷ in perils²⁷⁹⁴ by¹⁵³⁷ mine own countrymen,¹⁰⁸⁵ in perils²⁷⁹⁴ by¹⁵³⁷ the heathen,¹⁴⁸⁴ in perils²⁷⁹⁴ in¹⁷²² the city,⁴¹⁷² in perils²⁷⁹⁴ in¹⁷²² the wilderness,²⁰⁴⁷ in perils²⁷⁹⁴ in¹⁷²² the sea,²²⁸¹ in perils²⁷⁹⁴ among¹⁷²² false brethren;⁵⁵⁶⁹

^27C In¹⁷²² weariness²⁸⁷³ and²⁵³² painfulness,³⁴⁴⁹ in¹⁷²² watchings⁷⁰ often,⁴¹⁷⁸ in¹⁷²² hunger³⁰⁴² and²⁵³² thirst,¹³⁷³ in¹⁷²² fastings³⁵²¹ often,⁴¹⁷⁸ in¹⁷²² cold⁵⁵⁹² and²⁵³² nakedness.¹¹³²

^28C Beside⁵⁵⁶⁵ those things that are without,³⁹²⁴ that which³⁵⁸⁸ cometh upon¹⁹⁹⁹ me³⁴⁵⁰ daily,^22502596 the care³³⁰⁸ of all³⁹⁵⁶ the churches.¹⁵⁷⁷

²⁹ Who⁵¹⁰¹ is weak,⁷⁷⁰ and²⁵³² I am⁷⁷⁰ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ weak?⁷⁷⁰ who⁵¹⁰¹ is offended,⁴⁶²⁴ and²⁵³² I¹⁴⁷³ burn⁴⁴⁴⁸ not?³⁷⁵⁶

^30C If¹⁴⁸⁷ I must needs¹¹⁶³ glory,²⁷⁴⁴ I will glory²⁷⁴⁴ of the things which concern³⁵⁸⁸ mine³⁴⁵⁰ infirmities.⁷⁶⁹

³¹ The God²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² Father³⁹⁶² of our²²⁵⁷ Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ which³⁵⁸⁸ is⁵⁶⁰⁷ blessed²¹²⁸ for¹⁵¹⁹ evermore,¹⁶⁵ knoweth¹⁴⁹² that I³⁷⁵⁴ lie⁵⁵⁷⁴ not.³⁷⁵⁶

³² In¹⁷²² Damascus¹¹⁵⁴ the governor¹⁴⁸¹ under Aretas⁷⁰² the king⁹³⁵ kept⁵⁴³² ➔ the city⁴¹⁷² of the Damascenes¹¹⁵³ with a garrison,⁵⁴³² desirous²³⁰⁹ to apprehend⁴⁰⁸⁴ me:³¹⁶⁵

^33C And²⁵³² through¹²²³ a window²³⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² a basket⁴⁵⁵³ was I let down⁵⁴⁶⁵ by¹²²³ the wall,⁵⁰³⁸ and²⁵³² escaped¹⁶²⁸ his⁸⁴⁶ hands.⁵⁴⁹⁵

12^CIt is⁴⁸⁵¹ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ expedient⁴⁸⁵¹ for me³⁴²⁷ doubtless¹²¹¹ to glory.^27441063 I will come²⁰⁶⁴ to¹⁵¹⁹ visions³⁷⁰¹ and²⁵³² revelations⁶⁰² of the Lord.²⁹⁶²

^2C I knew¹⁴⁹² a man⁴⁴⁴ in¹⁷²² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ above⁴²⁵³ ➔ fourteen¹¹⁸⁰ years²⁰⁹⁴ ago,⁴²⁵³ (whether¹⁵³⁵ in¹⁷²² the body,⁴⁹⁸³ I cannot³⁷⁵⁶ tell;¹⁴⁹² or whether¹⁵³⁵ out¹⁶²² of the body,⁴⁹⁸³ I cannot³⁷⁵⁶ tell:¹⁴⁹² God²³¹⁶ knoweth;)¹⁴⁹² such an one⁵¹⁰⁸ caught up⁷²⁶ to²¹⁹³ the third⁵¹⁵⁴ heaven.³⁷⁷²

^3C And²⁵³² I knew¹⁴⁹² such⁵¹⁰⁸ a man,⁴⁴⁴ (whether¹⁵³⁵ in¹⁷²² the body,⁴⁹⁸³ or¹⁵³⁵ out¹⁶²² of the body,⁴⁹⁸³ I cannot³⁷⁵⁶ tell:¹⁴⁹² God²³¹⁶ knoweth;)¹⁴⁹²

^4C How that³⁷⁵⁴ he was caught up⁷²⁶ into¹⁵¹⁹ paradise,³⁸⁵⁷ and²⁵³² heard¹⁹¹ unspeakable⁷³¹ words,⁴⁴⁸⁷ which³⁷³⁹ it is¹⁸³² ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ lawful¹⁸³² for a man⁴⁴⁴ to utter.²⁹⁸⁰
